Personal Statement:

I am a financially astute, sixth-generation agriculturalist, agricultural property & finance specialist with a passion for farming and creating business efficiency, innovation and process improvement through a broad knowledge of the agribusiness sector.

 

Having grown up on a family farm and proactively contributed to the operational running of the property, I initially set out to gain a broad understanding of the various other facets of a farming business, such as agronomy, input cost management, marketing and overall financial management.

 

With a distinguished career now totalling 25+ years, I bring with me key capabilities in client portfolio management, providing investment/asset assessment and financial advice, overseeing corporate governance, and running successful operational teams.

 

With a strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data and by recommending or implementing business strategies to improve overall business performance, I can actively identify opportunities for successful Agribusiness growth.

 

My ability to build trusted, productive relationships with clients and industry contacts is a major factor in my success as a corporate agribusiness investment specialist and company director.

I am people-focused and cost-aware, while realising the necessity of strategic growth and development of alliances between the farming community, private sectors, and Government, to enhance mutual business opportunities within the sector and invested parties.

 

I have spent many meaningful years working with people in diverse regional & Agribusiness settings, and I am constantly amazed by what we can achieve when farmers, investors and industry work together to achieve a common goal.
